Responsibilities

  • Coordinate school, college, and community fundraising initiatives.
  • Recruit and support student volunteers and Youth Ambassadors.
  • Organize donation drives, awareness campaigns, and special events.
  • Collaborate with local schools, student organizations, and community groups.
  • Assist with event planning and volunteer coordination.
  • Help promote fundraising campaigns through community outreach and social media.
  • Track fundraising activities and share impact updates with the Board.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with student organizations, clubs, or community service is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Research local, state, federal, corporate, and foundation grant opportunities.
  • Evaluate grant eligibility, priorities, and application requirements.
  • Maintain and update the grant pipeline and application calendar.
  • Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals and online applications.
  • Work with the Board to gather organizational information, budgets, impact data, and supporting documents.
  • Assist with grant reports and follow-up documentation as needed.
  • Recommend new funding opportunities aligned with Isha Cares' mission.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Experience with grant writing or nonprofit fundraising is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Board.

  • Identify and research prospective corporate sponsors and community partners.
  • Schedule meetings with businesses, healthcare organizations, and CSR teams.
  • Represent Isha Cares at networking events, community meetings, and sponsor visits.
  • Present sponsorship opportunities using Isha Cares' materials and donor presentations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate partners.
  • Follow up with prospective sponsors throughout the sponsorship process.
  • Maintain and update the corporate partnership pipeline and contact database.
  • Collaborate with the Board on sponsorship strategies.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing, fundraising, or community relations preferred.
  • Comfortable networking and meeting with business leaders.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and relationship-oriented.
